You will be shocked to know that celebrities like Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio are also some of the gamblers that Molly Bloom has met and described in her book. Readers speculate that one of the two is the actual Player X, but it remains a mystery for now.

Born on April 21st, 1978, Molly Bloom was not always into gambling. Under the great example and influence of her mother Char and her brother Jeremy, Bloom started skiing at an early age. She was a competitive skier and was training hard to qualify for the Olympics. Sadly, a serious injury changed her plans.
In 2004, Molly moved to Los Angeles and worked as a barmaid. She meets Darin Feinstein and starts hosting underground Poker tournaments for him. In 2007, Molly hosts her own tournaments with very high stakes. Bloom is successful, earns huge amounts of cash and has interesting encounters with celebrities and members of the mafia. However, it all came to an end around 2013-2014, when she was arrested for money laundering and illegal sports betting activities at the age of 34. She was sentenced with community service and a huge dept in Poker proceeds.
