But, how else would he collect his money if not for gambling? On a poker table, he faces a beautiful con artist named Annabelle Bransford, an ill-tempered gambler called Angel, and the lawman Marshal Zane Cooper.
Maverick, Bransford, and Cooper team up, and they go on their adventure to collect enough money so that they can all play in the tournament. The plot thickens, because as cunning and clever as the three of them are, you can never be quite sure who is getting backstabbed. The action continues with the trio eventually meeting a common enemy called Commodore Duvall, who is also one of the main figures behind the tournament.
